Wayne has an inviting rural atmosphere and is a well-established community first organized in 1806. Wayne Township is situated in the southern part of the county and is home to fewer than one thousand residents. Among the smaller townships, you’ll find Wayne. Within Columbiana County, there are eighteen remarkable townships, each with their own unique character and charm. Mahoning County is the northern border, Jefferson and Carroll counties and the Ohio River form the southern border, the State of Pennsylvania is the eastern border, and Stark and Carroll counties form the western border. Residents of the county enjoy convenient access to a multitude of amenities and attractions because the county is surrounded by several highly desirable destinations. On the eastern edge of the State of Ohio, the scenic Columbiana County is comprised of 534 square miles and an abundance of natural beauty.
